Privacy Policy
Last updated July 2026. This policy is young, like the house. It will grow when the store opens; the promises in it will not shrink.
The short version
What happens between you and your partner is not data. We collect the minimum needed to send you what you asked for, we never sell it, and we never follow you around the web.
What we collect
- Your email address, only when you give it to us: to open your first letter, to join a waitlist, or to write to us. We use it for exactly that purpose.
- A few preferences kept on your device: your chosen realm, your sample progress, and your safe word. These live in your browser's own storage and are never sent to us. Clear your browser data and they are gone.
- Order and shipping details, once the store is live: name, address, and what you ordered, held only as long as fulfilment and law require.
What we never do
- We never sell or rent your information to anyone.
- We never track you across other websites.
- We never see or store card numbers. Payment, when live, happens on Stripe's secure forms.
- We never put the name of the house on your bank statement or your doorstep. Neutral billing descriptor, plain packaging.
Special care
A purchase from this house can imply something intimate about you. Under European law (GDPR) that deserves elevated protection, and we treat it that way: minimal records, access limited to the two of us who run the house, and processors chosen for discretion.
Who helps us
A small circle, each seeing only what their job requires: an email provider (to deliver your letter), Stripe (payments, when live), and a shipping carrier (your address, on the outside of a plain box).
Your rights
Ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to erase it, at any time: write to us or email stan@forbdn.com. We answer within 30 days, usually much sooner. You may also complain to your local data authority; we would rather you told us first.
Age
The house is for adults. We do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 18.
